Registration & Deferrals
Registration Timeline for SBT GRVL® 2027:
10/1-10/8: Early registration for 2026 volunteers and 2026 Deferred riders (entry guaranteed through 10/8 then expires), juniors, survey winners and parity initiatives.
10/14–10/31: Registration for Random Selection process open
11/5: Riders who are & are not selected for SBT GRVL® presented by Wahoo 2027 will be notified
To continue giving everybody a fair shake, SBT GRVL® presented by Wahoo is doing a random selection entry for 2027, taking place October 14-31, 2026.
Starting October 1, deferred riders are able to re-register through October 8. From October 1-8, 2026, registration will open for our 2026 volunteers, juniors, survey winners and parity initiatives. On October 14th-October 31st, random selection general registration will take place, with notification on November 5.

(Junior entries are 1/2 price of the above fees. Tandem entries are 2x the price of the above fees.)

Deferral and Course Change Policy
Registration fees will not roll forward should a rider defer entry. Those who opt to defer 2027 registration to 2028 will have guaranteed entry, but will pay 2028 fees for the course of their choosing. Deferrals for all courses must be made by May 22, 2027.
Registration Protection will be offered during the registration process. Riders who elect to purchase Registration Protection may be eligible for reimbursement of their registration fees if they are unable to attend the event due to a qualifying reason covered under the policy. Please refer to the Registration Protection policy during registration for complete terms, conditions, and covered reasons.
Course changes will be accepted until May 22, 2027. After that date, course selections are locked.
Registration fees are not refundable and transfers are not permitted. This means that if you register and cannot attend SBT GRVL p/b Wahoo for any reason, but your friend, partner, spouse, child, parent, sibling, etc. would like to participate, this transfer of an entry is not allowed by you or by SBT GRVL p/b Wahoo. There are no exceptions to the Transfer Policy.
Group Registration
We understand how important it is to visit Steamboat Springs and ride SBT GRVL p/b Wahoo with your friends and family and have a process for group registration for groups of up to 4 members.
Please see the directions and important details below when registering with a group.

Please see the guidelines below to easily establish your group for registration:
Gather your group members. Groups can have a maximum of four (4) riders.
Registration will include a series of required short questions to form your group.
Decide on a Group Name for your Random Selection Group. All group members will enter this name during the registration process.
Please decide which member of your group will be the Group Captain. The Group Captain will be responsible for entering the first and last names of group members during their registration.
Non captain Group Members will only enter the Group Name during the registration process.
Simply answer “no” to the question about whether you are the Group Captain. Then you will be asked what your Group Name is for your registration group.
All riders can register at different times and add their own payment details. However, all riders are REQUIRED to register during the Random Selection Window from October 14-31, 2026. Late entries will NOT be accepted.
Members of the same Group can choose different courses.

Group members may select different course distances.
Group size is limited to 4 members maximum (no exceptions)
Being in a group does not guarantee entry via random selection (or increase/decrease your chances). Your entire group will either be selected or not selected for SBT GRVL p/b Wahoo 2027.
Group members do not have to register at the exact same time. HOWEVER, you MUST register during the random selection registration window between October 14 at 8am MT until October 31 at 11:59pm MT.
All registration policies apply to each member of the group individually after random selection. If someone needs to defer their entry or change their course at a later date that will not affect other members of the group.
Please note: If one of the group members defers their entry you do not get to “replace” that group member after the deferral.
If you make any mistakes while entering the random selection, your entry can be edited during the random selection window from October 14-31, 2026.
To make edits please login into your account on the registration platform (created upon registration).
